Here are two pictures of a wall hanging I created using ceramic tiles I hand pounded and then fired in the wood kiln. The lighter side was originally going to be the display side, however the back side has better color and a more interesting surface.
The old weathered board is from a building that my good friend Lee Smith let me savage from his aunt’s place. She’d estimated the age at 50 years old.
